About the Project: A Lifeline in the Mountains of Hajjah

In the remote mountainous villages of Anham Al-Gharb – Kushar District, Hajjah Governorate, water scarcity was a daily struggle for families. With limited income and a lack of sustainable alternatives, they were forced to purchase expensive water. In response to this urgent humanitarian need, Al-Noor Charity Association implemented an emergency water relief project, generously supported by Al-Najat Charity Society – Kuwait.

What Does This Project Cover?

  • Clean Water Supply: Delivering regular and organized water supplies to targeted villages to ensure family self-sufficiency.
  • Public Health Improvement: Reducing risks and diseases associated with the use of unsafe or contaminated water sources.
  • Economic Relief: Alleviating the daily financial burdens on the most vulnerable families who previously spent their limited income on water.

Impact of the Humanitarian Intervention:

This intervention was more than just providing water; it was direct support for human dignity and a beacon of hope that restored tranquility and stability to communities that had long suffered from scarcity. Thanks to this contribution, living conditions have improved, and the arduous journey of searching for water has ended, establishing a sustainable foundation for community stability.
